We are glad that you are interested in our forum and that you want to contribute to the content of our site. We promote content that strives towards openness and progressive thinking. If you want to help us do so, please submit your proposal here: contact@forum-nepantla.org

Here are some things to have in mind regarding submissions.

What we publish

  • Forum Nepantla is meant to grow along with its contributors. Therefore the sections currently on the site are not fixed. You can propose new sections, in new formats.
  • The general direction of the content we promote is described by the following guidelines.

Language

  • We try to publish in any language and avoid a certain linguistic hegemony.

How often

  • We try to publish new contributions daily, depending on the inflow of submissions.

Philosophy/Science/Politics

  • We encourage free-flowing essays, that promote critical thought, open dialogue, and inclusive epistemic perspectives
  • No academic criteria required, just inciting ideas
  • We recommend that the length of each essay does not surpass 5000 words
  • We review each entry before publishing and get back to you generally within a week
  • Artistic/aesthetical takes on philosophical, scientific, or political ideas are also welcome

Art

  • We wish to publish new and coming artists (in any genre), that are developing their own style
  • Each artist will have their own page and hold the rights to their art
  • Each page links to the artists’ social media accounts

Literature

  • We wish to publish new and coming writers (in any genre, and any format), that are developing their own style
  • Feel free to suggest subsections for the Literature section
  • We encourage short entries (poetry, short stories, essays, etc.)
  • we accept alternative literature formats: videos, voiceclips, collages, etc.

EmergencyRoom

  • This section focuses on current pressing matters and ways to deal/interact with them
  • We accept any submission from any of the other categories: philosophy, art, literature, science, politcs.
  • The same guidlines apply
  • We will also publish relevant interviews: suggestions welcomed!
